Health Tools

The center of your home represents health and and also any other life event that isn’t represented in the other ba guas.  Being in the center, the watchword is balance. And also simplicity.  Keep this section of the home as clear as possible to allow good health chi to flow.

Earth

Plants work well here. They work best if in a ceramic or terra-cotta pot. The color brown can also represent earth.

Natural Crystals

How about a big hunk of natural crystal you found at the river?  We’re talking rough and bumpy, not the shiny crystals that have been all buffed up.

Terra-cotta or Ceramic

Terra-cotta is great for the health gua  because it is made of earth and it is the color of clay. So put your healthy plant in a terra-cotta or ceramic pot and feel the vitality seep into your home.

Tile

If you can tile this area or put in a nice piece of decorative tile, it will be very beneficial for your health.  Try it and see.

Orange, Yellow, Brown

This is a great area to paint a nice sunny yellow. My hallway, which runs through the middle of my home from the front to the back, is yellow and everyone is cheered the moment they step into my house.

A little red for punch

Red is a a powerful color. It stops the energy in it’s tracks and in this case promotes good health for you.

Sun

The sun is the symbol of health. I have a metal Sun hanging smack in the center of my hallway in the middle of my house. Very beneficial.

Sand

Squares, Cubes, and Rectangular

Artwork

  • Hang a picture of a powerful mountain
  • or a picture that depicts how you want your body to be.
  • Or hang a Health Mandala, especially created to attract healthy energy.
  • Groupings of 5 - 5 is the number for health so try to group things in 5’s if possible. But don’t scrunch things together or let it get cluttered.

    Health Mandala

    health2sm02

Mandala comes from a Sanskrit word meaning "circle” or "completion”. Today this term refers to a plan, chart, or geometric pattern that represents the cosmos

In various spiritual traditions, mandala is used for establishing a sacred space, as a spiritual teaching tool, and as an aid to meditation.

If placed intentionally, mandalas can be used to enhance the positive chi in a bagua.

The mandala pictured above was created from a collage of images representing Health.
