A Bamboo Flute
A bamboo flute is a traditional chi enhancer. You can purchase these flutes very inexpensively at specialty stores. I found them for $ 5.95 a dozen at: http://www.orientaltrading.com. Or if you really want to get into it, you can even make you own bamboo flute (which has got to be a chi enhancing endeavor.) Free instructions on how to make bamboo flutes, written by Robert E. Kramer, can be found at the Backwoods Home web-site: http://www.backwoodshome.com/articles/kramer42.html
A Fountain
A fountain with moving water is a wonderful prosperity tool for your home. Water is very powerful so use this tool judiciously. And if you do decide to use a fountain, make sure the water is kept clean. There is nothing like the delicate sound of flowing water to create a wonderful atmosphere of peace and plenty in your home. An aquarium is great for this section too but again, it must be kept clean ... and make sure your fish are healthy too.
A Word of Caution about Using Prosperity Tools
Intention is so important when using feng shui to improve our lives. Never carelessly fling a bunch prosperity tools into a space and expect for it to have an effect. It doesn’t work that way. Just one or two items placed lovingly and thoughtfully will have a much greater effect than many many items stuffed into your prosperity corner. And when you give a money tree as a graduation gift or a Prosperity Mandala to someone just starting a business or marriage, make sure you tell them how and where to use these tools. In the case of Prosperity Mandalas, they come with an information sheet which explains the basic principles and how to use them. They are also beautiful works of art.
Art for Prosperity
Art can be tricky. You want to make sure all the artwork hung in your prosperity corner is vibrant and rich. Be careful of unintended symbolism in your art. You don’t want to hang a photo of your favorite uncle, (who just happened to go bankrupt), in this area of you home.
If you’re feeling creative, you might want to create a beautiful collage of all the things you want in your life, frame it, and hang it in the back left corner of your home. It’s a fun project and doesn’t cost a thing. Just get some old magazines and cut out images that represent prosperity, abundance, and success to you. Paste them onto a poster board in a pleasing fashion, smack a photo of yourself in the middle and viola, you’ve got a beautiful prosperity tool that didn’t cost you anything to make. Go ahead and spring for a nice frame. You don’t want to be cheap or chintsy in this area of your home. You want to act as if you already have the prosperity you desire.
